Florida Central & West Region
The Florida Central & West Region proudly hosts two regional championship tournaments for FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge teams. Join us for a day of innovation, competition, and celebration!
FIRST® LEGO® League introduces STEM to children ages 9-14 through hands-on learning. Participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program using LEGO® technology.
This year's challenge is UNEARTHED! Teams dig into the past to discover the future. In addition to the robot game, teams are developing innovative solutions to help archeologists solve problems.
From each regional championship tournament, 11 teams will advance, 22 teams total from the Florida Central and West Region. The FLL Florida State Championship will be held at Shorecrest Preparatory School on February 21, 2026. There will be 55 teams from across the State at Florida FLL Challenge State Championship. These teams are competing for advancement to Worlds and other International Invitationals. Bring your best performance to earn your spot!
Two separate championship tournaments - advancing teams are placed at the regional championship that they are closest to in distance.
